Those of us at First Community Bank in Prosperity are proud to live in a beautiful, family-centered town. And on Friday, August 20, we’ll celebrate with the rest of the community at the 10th annual Prosperity’s Hoppin’ festival. The action kicks off at six p.m. with music by the Good Times Band, a street dance, and an introduction to the winners of last Saturday’s Hoppin’ Pageant. The rest of the evening will be filled with children’s activities, crafts, rides and a car show.
The fun continues Saturday with a 5K Run/Walk starting at Town Hall at eight a.m. Then residents will be “Hoppin’ in the Square” in downtown Prosperity, enjoying yard sales, rides, food and entertainment.
