Small business owners are a unique bunch. They share a “can-do” attitude that only becomes more pronounced when the chips are down, as in the challenging days of the Recession.
And now, as we work toward Recovery, we want to use this online journal as a place to shine a light on some Midlands’ entrepreneurs who inspire us. We believe they are heroes among us. They run the shops we frequent and provide the services that make our lives better; they answer our questions and meet our needs with a genuine interest in whatever it is we are trying to accomplish, whether it’s help with a complicated legal matter or finding just the right plant for that shady spot in the back yard.
We’ll also spotlight goings-on in the communities and neighborhoods of the Midlands of South Carolina, and we’ll share news that may affect you, your business or your family as we look to tomorrow.
